Drive

It is time to evolve beyond the macho jerk ideal, all spine and no heart.  It is also time to evolve beyond the sensitive and caring wimp ideal, all heart and no spine.  Heart and spine must be united in a single man, and then gone beyond in the fullest expression of love and consciousness possible, which requires a deep relaxation into the infinite openness of this present moment.  And this takes a new kind of guts.  This is The Way of the Superior Man. 

1.  Gabe: I honestly don’t know where to start.  I leave in 4 days.  The last time we were separated was when we went to different high schools and that proved devastating for both of us.  This seems like a lose-lose situation for me.  I’ve met so many nice people the last time I visited USF and despite having fun with all of these new people, you are not there. 

2.  Samantha:  I miss you and we never chill, but you’re living you’re life starting going to school, friends, etc.  We’re not as close but I love you, Aaden, and Darwin.  I never say this enough, but I am so proud of you and in many ways, I aspire to be like you.  I see nothing but great things in your future and success that is not only measured in wealth, but other things as well. 

3.  Nanang:  You are the strongest person that I have ever known and are the light of my life.  I am who I am because of you.  I honestly cannot write down my feelings because I cannot see an adequate answer that can suffice. 

4.  Mr. Charles Skinner:  I met you during a period in my life where there was much turmoil.  I can’t even describe the feelings that I was feeling and I felt that I didn’t have a purpose or direction in terms of where my life was heading.  When I met with you about my decision to apply to USF in January, you provided me with a sense of purpose and belonging.  You said that you would do everything in your power to get me into USF.  I felt like someone was finally on my side and you have no idea how it felt to have someone fight for you.  During this point of my life, the world was crashing down on me and I saw no light at the end of the tunnel.  But, you cared about me and let me know that I was a cause worth fighting for.  Your death came to me as a shock.  I stood alone in the dark crying for days.  You have no idea about how much of an impact you’ve had on my life.  Thank you so much.  I’ll see you real soon on the other soon.  Rest in Paradise my menotor. 

5.  Sunny:  Being in a relationship does not necesarily mean that you forget about all of your friends.  You threw away a good friendship because of your girlfriend.  You let having a girlfriend dictate your life instead of enrich it.  You made it evident time and time again that you didn’t have my back.  You did not make a valid effort to being a good friend.  I hope it was worth it brother.  You live your life.  I’ll live my life. 

6.  Jeanelle:  You are an awesome person who always radiates positivity and love every time I see you.  You are one of the coolest / chillest people I know.  You’ve accepted me as Gabe’s best friend and never once tried to break us up.  Thank you so much for all you’ve done.  

7.  Michelle: You have no idea how much pain you’ve caused me, but at the same time, you’re the reason why my life is so good right now. 

8.  Kevin:  FUCK YOU, you’re dead to me.

9.  Michael:  That goes double for you.

10.  Everyone:  Be who you are. Do what makes you…YOU.  Never hide.

1.  Kicked ass on my job interview.  Every single question that she asked, i already prepared for and had the perfect answer. 

2.  Received my vintage cuff / wristband that i won from ebay.  He said it was going to take 3-5 days to come in.  But, I got it like the next day.

3.  Received my vintage boots (also from ebay).  I took them and customized them myself  and they look hella badass. 

4.  I got $60 from rebates (the ones you get from anti-virus software).  I expected these to come in after I moved out to SF. 

5.  I bid on some dark brown, vintage boots on ebay.  price was set at $125, but I submitted a best offer of $50.  The seller was nice enough to accept my offer.

I woke up at about 2 am with the most bizarre series of dreams.  The first dream took place in a parking lot behind an alley.  I was walking through the alley and noticed all of the cars with their roofs crushed.  Inside were dead bodies of victims.  Shocked by this, I just stood there paralyzed.  Then out comes the harvenger of death.  I’m spotted.  And I start running for my life.  Right before I’m about to die.  I wake up.  This was around 12:30am.  As I proceed to try and fall asleep, my next sequence of dreams commences.  My next dream takes place in my cousin’s boyfriend’s house.  In this dream, my cousin Samantha offers me chocolate milk (which I haven’t had since I was a kid).  The conversation goes as follows:

Samantha:  “You want some chocolate milk?”

Me:  “Yeah, sure.”

Samantha:  “Just be careful though, the ghost here, doesn’t like it.”

All of a sudden I’m being choked by an apparition.  I wake up from my dream in a state of paralysis.  I literally could not move, talk, nothing.  I knew what was happening around me, but I couldn’t do anything.  I end up screaming at the top of my lungs. 

It’s weird.  Over the last couple of weeks, my dreams have been really vivid and intense.
